Jon grew up in a Christian home in Dallas, TX. He was heavily involved in sports, and when he graduated from high school he departed for Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, where he was a member of the Golden Eagles baseball team and studied Public Relations. While at ORU, Jon met his wife, JoAnna. The couple married in 2003, and have 3 children. After they married, they moved back to Texas, where Jon took up work as a salesman. In 2005, Jon felt the call on his life to enter into ministry. He enrolled in Bible school, and graduated in 2007 from Covenant Training Institute. In 2008, God called Jon & JoAnna back to Tulsa. In November of 2009, Jon became involved in ministry on the streets of Tulsa; ministering to the homeless in downtown. One year later, they founded City of Hope Church, with the goal of reaching out to the community, and training others to impact their cities, their country, and the world.
